Just wondered mate as I'm meant to be heading there in February, was gonna do it over 5 days and go through Holland, Belgium, Germany and then up to Copenhagen and across to where I need to be in Denmark. Train seems like the best bet and not crazily expensive.

Holland, Belgium and Germany easiest way is by coach I reckon, the company Euro Lines is easily booked online

usually bout 9-10 euros per country, I done it couple of years ago

can we put a limit on teh number of threads Mick starts. I love him but jaysus

this one is a fairly decent read when he does his diary entries though,
his bold words strike through the page like neon blue lightning cracks the black night sky, his voice is like the thunder of God...

I only check Everton's fixture lists now so I know when Mick's gonna post in here TBH

It's 17:47 and I need to be leaving the house in an hour as we're getting a taxi to the match tonight BUT my girlfriend thinks its a clever idea to start making a pasta bake! I told her it best not take long to cook because the taxis could be busy! She reckons it will only take about 30 minutes, lets hope so ay. Also, her Dad hasn't phoned her to say he needs picking up from work and she's tried phoning him but is getting no answer. So I'm getting a funny feeling he's gonna phone either while the pasta bake is being made or when we are on our way to Goodison. I've told her to tell him we are on our way the match and we can't pick him up. Why can't everything be straightforward?

There's nothing more exciting that a night game at Goodison, my stomach is already doing somersaults. Who wants pictures? I very rarely take any here but seeing as though its a special night under the floodlights I might get a few.

Lets hope we aren't late and this pasta bake goes to plan! Fingers crossed!

Whatever the pics are of, we all know he won't come thru on his promise... :p

Anyway, we ate our pasta bake and was about to phone a taxi when suddenly, her Dad phoned needing a pick up from work! Right! Quick, lets do this! It's only 5 minutes in the car! Come on!
My girlfriend says "do you want me to drive" I replied "no! We need to be fast!" She says "ok, I need the toilet" "quick!" I replied.
She went the toilet and the dog just barked at me, I said "why are you barking at me? I paid for you to come here!" He stopped and my girlfriend ran down the stairs, into the car we got and made our way to her dads work. On the way we encountered road works! The road ahead was closed! I knew an alternative way but wasn't 100% sure! It worked, we got there but a few minutes behind schedule. Her Dad got in and we dropped him off, on the way I phoned a taxi. The taxi seemed to take a while, 7pm it turned up, "Goodison park please mate" "no problem" was te reply. Off we went and arrived approximately 7:20. We walked past the police station and the cemetery, my girlfriend turned off to walk down Gwladys street, "where are you going?" I asked. "To our seat" she said. "I want to do a lap of the ground first" Anyway, we walked down Gwladys street and turned left onto bullens road and walked round that way. We came back onto Gwladys street and went through the turnstile. "I'm going the toilet" she said "ok" I said "I'm going too, I'll meet you back here" I walked in the toilet and found a quiet corner, done the business and washed my hands, I got in line for a paper towel but the gentleman in front was holding his hands underneath as if It was an electric dryer! "Oh, I thought it was an electric dryer!" We laughed for about 20 seconds, pulled out a towel each and dried our hands. I walked back to the girls toilets and found my girlfriend, up we went to our seat and the players had just finished their warm up. We waited patiently then suddenly....Z cars played and we applauded our boys onto the field. What a great first half! Everton looked solid and played with attacking intent. Newcastle were terrified of Romelu as he danced through their defence to score two lovely goals! Great through ball into the path of Ross Barkley who slotted beautifully, his first senior goal at Goodison Park! Into the break we went 3-0 up! We have the best centre forward in the league! He was dominating. Second half, not so good, lacklustre start and a bit more slower, seemed a little careless, Newcastle made changes and pounced scoring a great goal which I happened to applaud. Second goal, I have no idea what happened, thinking about it now, I can't even remember anything about it! Everton had chances, Coleman with a great chance which Osman failed to convert on the Keepers parry, Barkley had a good opportunity as did Lukaku and Baines. Deulofeu needs to pass the ball a bit sooner but he has bags of quality and will prove to be a danger man on the wing. The whistle went to relief and on the way out I saw a man who I used to sit next to when I was 11-16. I approached him, "hello, do you remember me" he looked at me with a smile and said "yes, I do!"
I said "I sat next to you in the Walter Smith era" he said "that's right! You was only small then" I said "yea, I used to wear glasses" we had a pleasant chat for a quick minute then said goodbye. He hasn't changed a bit! We left the stadium and walked to where my girlfriends mum was parked. Into the car we got and drove home. I love Everton!

Mick are you ****ing messing lad?

This isn't even interesting. It's boring, mundane sh*t, the most exciting of which I wouldn't even bother repeating in small talk with my dad never mind posting on GOT.

A fella thought the hand drier was electric when it wasn't is the most interesting thing from any of your stories.

Leave it.
