Well my little girls homework...she brought home from pre-school charley chimp (Soft toy) and his diary with photo's and storys from the kids that had him before (over several years).

I'm sad to report, Rolo, the chocolate Labrador has shredded the diary (the chimp survived). I'm going to staples later for a replacement book and a load of that super clear magic tape.

He's destroyed loads of stuff since we got him.

Has anyone elses pet caused similar amounts of devastation?

Not quite the same but my daughter got the merit from school on friday which means you get a teddy and a badge for the weekend. She decided she wanted to wear the badge to gymnastics yesterday and lost it somewhere in west kirby.
So looks like i'm going to spend the day in the sports centre looking for it!

Similar. Pre school treasured this book, with photo's of charley the chimp with all the children at their houses and little stories etc. I think my Kid is going to be in trouble unless I can repair it. At least the dog hasn't eaten the chimp yet.

Ol' Yella ...Sad but true ....

As you said , Lid ...

My advice, get a pug dog. They're too busy sleeping, that they don't bother destroying stuff. He even prefers sleeping over food. Had bacon yesterday and called him. It's hard to wake him up in the first place, as he's getting a bit deaf. After four or five shouts he finally got up, walked towards me, had a sniff at the bacon, turned around and walked back to his basket and continued sleeping.

That's more like it, my dogs a pain, he will eat anything, Nappies, Books, Empty plastic milk bottles, plastic jugs, lunch boxes, barbie dolls, handbags, the pocket to my berghaus fleece so I lost my car keys (found them though), cuddly toys, footballs, and anything else I leave less than 5 foot off the ground.
