We only lost that because we worked so hard for 4th. Then Mr Mafia screwed us. I am not suprised our players had no fight left.

The lap of honour the Buccharest team did after beating the mighty English was like rubbing salt in....

Even the scally looking Romanian fans to our right, were applauding us.....or pittying us !!!

I had to work the night of the second leg, but it made me happy Dunc punched one of their miserable gits.

Btw I named my son Duncan :) He lives with his mother in america though which is really sad as I am trying to teach him the ways of an Evertonian :)

Effort with the name mate, my wife would not go for 'Duncan'......We went for Faith, in the end !!!!

Well it was an early kick-off the atmosphere was building up nicely in the concourse....but damnit conceding in the first minute tends to put a dampner on things.

Screw it though. It happens, first thing I did when I got back home was buy a season ticket. You win some you lose some...hopefully Bobby will know where he wants to strengthen and next season we will be even stronger, and most likely we will have the odd European away thrown in the mix.

Anyone who was at Nurnburg will know exactly what I am talking about.

I was at the 0-7 highbury game it was fun lol beach ball all over the place till the dour faced steward popped it. we'd qualified for the cl so were in a good mood ok the margin of defeat was bad but we still had a good night. I was in Bucharest for the 1-5 but regardless had a good 3 days there. following everton away can be 2 things, pure football great when we win so down when we lose or a great time out spoiled by 90 min of footie.(an expression between my mates when we were bad)

We had already finished 4th so it was more of a party. I had my 18th month old so thats my excuse for leaving early :P

that's what im trying to convey. away games (to me) are more than the actual match, it's a day out its meeting old friends it's travelling it's looking after each others kids (even leaving when they want to go home lol) its just an everton family experience.
