First of all, first point seems valid enough.
Secondly, regarding Nuno...ARE YOU [Poor language removed] JOKING?!? He was [Poor language removed] [Poor language removed] against City, probably our worst player, everytime he got the ball he gave it away or [Poor language removed] up in some other way, I say sell him

I don't think Manny will last the 90 either, he's only played 5 games all season, I think he might start him, but only because we're thin there at the moment, otherwise I think he'd struggle to start him if we still had Pienaar and Osman was fully fit, he'd have to prove himself and force his way into the team.

I agree - people seem to overlook Osman and he has peformed very well this season. Hopefully he'll be back soon

Re Nuno, I didnt see the city game (MOTD two minute highlights only), and admittedly have been limited to watching recent matches on telly. But recently when he's played I have been quite impressed with the way he was linking up with Pienaar going forward and also with his tackling. But he does seem to suffer from erratic form

Nuno wasn't great on saturday, he gave the ball away alot. That's probably down to sharpness though, his defence was good enough to keep a clean sheet.
He made some trademark erratic crosses -- row Z in the upper gladys.

I'd go for Baines though against his old club, he'll be fired up and it could hopefully kickstart a bit of form from him.

I think Fernandes would start the match and he would be taken off sometime in the 2nd half and we will switch back to 4-4-2

Osman as most is saying would likely be ready for Chelsea match

I do feel sorry for Hibbert and if Fernandes is playing it could be this line up instead:-

------------ Howard -------------

Hibbert - Jagielka - Lescott - Baines

------------ Carsley -----------------

Fernandes - Neville - Cahill - Arteta

--------------- AJ -------------------

Arteta and Fernandes might be the other way round, but it would be similar to what Pienaar and Arteta been doing.

This is the likely line up but I still prefer to my first choice line up, thinks Mcfadden is not doing too bad and against Wigan we should have no problem playing him there!

i don't get it, fernandes isn't a winger is he? as i recall he played controlling mid for us when we had him last, why would we play him out of position?
