DMT is like tapping into the control panel of the universe or something. Like being shot out of a rocket compared to the long, slow LSD or mushroom experience.

Word. It hints at something much bigger and complex than we know. Quite what, aliens.

Terence McKenna (known by some for Shamen's Re:Evolution) famously described these entities as self-transforming machine elves.

Can you say anything more about them? Figment of one's imagination or are they really out there?



Yeah, like with DMT's 'machine elves' it's interesting so many have similar experiences/feelings when taking acid. There must be something to it that's more than basic individual hallucination.

Some have theorised that the same chemical-release happens at death, or with near-death experiences...a blissful all-is-fine vibe. Not sure tho' if that's really the same thing.

The closest trip i've had which felt control-panelly was acid (again) and having clear vivid images of creating line-by-line (like lines of pixel-deep computer-graphics) long-forgotten objects out of my childhood. In particular i conjured up an old tape-player i hadn't even thought about since the 80's...line-by-line, drawing it into being before my eyes.

But that sounds pretty small-fry compared with tapping into the control panel of the universe lol

would love to hear more.

Despite my best efforts I don’t believe I’ve broken through. I’ve been to some peculiar and profound places on it but never met a machine elf and never met an entity, sadly.

Done them quite a few times and had mixed experiences. Found the truffles pretty terrible to be honest and were more akin to just being really baked.

Mate of mine used to source good ones on the web, pretty mad experiences. Had a pretty horrible trip on one occasion not long ago and it kinda put me off them.

Yeah I can buy truffles legally here in Spain but they're definitely different and not so intense

Having had fantastic personal experiences over many years, It seems its finally coming to light that the active ingredient in certain mushrooms "Psilocybin" is a great psychological and physiological help to us humans.

I read a book yonks ago about Ketamine being used for telepathic communication, especially for talking to dolphins !
They would basically get off it and then swim with them !
Bonkers book but they did treat it with as a scientific approach as possible.

Anything that takes us out of our Ego as it where. Can have a profound and enlightening effect.
Being able to do so is another matter though.
