I think a lot of people have missed the point here.

People aren't arsed that he hasn't endorsed a pitch invasion, it's that he's actually had a go at the fans and implied that their actions have ruined the occasion somewhat. In fact no, not implied, he stated that.

That's bang out of order when the club incited it completely and it's disrespectful to all the people who paid and made the journey to support Hibbo.

I really don't inderstand this bias against Neville anymore.Nobody is claiming that he is a brilliant footballer, but he certainly isan effective player and is a great leader.
Most of our best results in recent years have happened when Neville is in the team.Moyes as manager will pick the players that he feels will get the best result whither they are 18 or 35 and in general he has been proven right.

Except in games that mean something.

It's not like the fans help pay his wages or anything though mate... Oh wait?

Aye, he needs to calm down. No one touched Hibbos parts and nothing got set alight. People peacefully pretended to 'riot' in the spirit of an in-joke that the club piggy backed a marketing campaign onto (rightly or wrongly).

Dave Watson was a great leader mate, that doesn't mean I want him on the pitch.

Neville these days plays in the centre of midfield. Having a CM who can not pass, dribble, move at a reasonable pace or control a football like a highly paid professional is what kind of annoys fans. Especially when we have younger, more technically gifted CMs in the squad.

personally i think pitch invasion in this case was totally understandable, it was a must, natural urge, cosmic law if i may.
well in hibbert (y)
