Oh by the way our first signing of the season on a perm was

James McFadden on 17/10/2011

Out of contract on a free...

Gibson was the first player we actually paid a fee for. Jelavic was the first major signing (i.e. major money) we've signed in three years.

No, they're not in the same category. But they were still signed (on loan is still a signing, if only for a season) in summer 2011.

I'm not arguing the Jelavic issue, or Moyes' "expectations" merely trying to get an admittance from you that you were wrong.

Any chance? Be the bigger man here Matthew, it's healthy to own up to your own shortcomings once in a while.

I don't have any shortcomings. Like Villa.

I'm an Evertonian.

And 569236256324126 posts in a row you've said the exact same thing, even if people are giving you reasonable arguments.

When you actually post a "reasonable argument" let me know. Because that will be a first.

Moses or... BARKLEY!

Moses is a different kind of player to be fair. He's a wide man with the potential to be a class striker... maybe even an ace partner for Jelavic?

He's the bee's knees anyway and still young. I think he'd be a great fit.

Also, despite people claiming the opposite, I've always said Barkley isn't quite ready to be the answer to anything. He is very young and will need at least one season of gradual introduction before we can say "____ is his position".

It seems we are getting Pienaar back.

Although I'm fairly sure LCAB has said 'there will be outs', not 100% sure though.

Hopefully not another summer of discontent.

This summer I will be the biggest FUMER on here if the board feck around again selling people and no one coming in.

Moyes played a blinder getting a PROPER striker in last January.

That needs to be built on from the wings and midfield and pienaar plus another could go a long way to that.

But we don't want to overly rely on Jelavic so backup / a partner for him would be nice too.

If I were Chairman and supporting the manager I'd be aiming to get them in, for the manager.

Agree with that... minus the word replacement!!

Add in some kind of LB cover and well, we might be sorted. I'm still worried about the AM role mind as I think Timmy isn't up to the standard we need anymore, and Felli's better deeper.

Anyway, isn't Moses on a bosman? I'd have him in a flash and he'd offer the pace/guile/unpredictability we need without the baggage of Drenthe. Sign Pienaar for whatever we have to pay (within reason) as he is a necessity... and unfortunately Spurs will know that!

Hopefully the two young lads Bidwell and Garbutt can sort that out free of charge

Lads I already told you our Ins and Outs.

As The Foxs agent I now have the infos.

Rodwell OUT
Pienaar IN
Donovan IN
Pranjic IN

MOIST Sniffing around Dempsey
City Sniffing around Baines

GOSPEL

If Pranjic is actually semi-decent at LB (I know he's meant to be a LM/LB, but then apparently so was Drenthe!) then those ins sound good.

I'm not sold on Dempsey like but if his fee isn't too bad.

Just... Baines, man. Anyone but Baines.

At the moment hes staying, but as soon as he hears the words "double your wages", I challenge anybody to say no.

Double wages,Champions League football and challenging for major trophys

I would be destroyed if he left but I would understand why and wish him the best

Don't blame them for leaving - even if it is for money - i know i would leave everton if it meant i could double my wages and got a better chance of winning things (meaning more bonuses) and playing for my country.

Its just how they conduct themselves on the exit.

If City want Baines, maybe they can chuck an extra £10 million on top as a thankyou for us helping them win the league...or chuck Adam Johnson into the equation
