Our aim sure should be to finish not only in the top 10 but in the top 5.

However its ok having that aim, but if the Everton-board are selling your players off promising REPLACEMENTS and not delivering ...


Then its only realistic to say top 10 was a good finish.


We're only as good as our weakest link. Which is the Everton Board. For not ensuring we had replacements ready to sign.

If they do the same this summer - then we're just undermining ourselves. Which is Moyes' point.

If the Everton board do again what they did last summer. I WILL FUME.

And Moyes probably will too.


As top 10 and not top 5 or 6 and therefore Europe is all we will achieve with this board.


We need a winger (plus Pienaar) signing this summer.

Plus a partner / backup / replacement for Jelavic this summer.


Based on what LCAB has said I'm hopeful the manager can actually DO SOME BUSINESS this summer.

So we can be up amongst it by January 2013 for chasing for top 5 spot!!!!

No, they're not in the same category. But they were still signed (on loan is still a signing, if only for a season) in summer 2011.

I'm not arguing the Jelavic issue, or Moyes' "expectations" merely trying to get an admittance from you that you were wrong.

Add in some kind of LB cover and well, we might be sorted. I'm still worried about the AM role mind as I think Timmy isn't up to the standard we need anymore, and Felli's better deeper.

Anyway, isn't Moses on a bosman? I'd have him in a flash and he'd offer the pace/guile/unpredictability we need without the baggage of Drenthe. Sign Pienaar for whatever we have to pay (within reason) as he is a necessity... and unfortunately Spurs will know that!
