Jelavic has been here 4 1/2 MONTHS.

Some on here are acting like Moyes signed him last summer.

The only one who's stated any facts here is me.

JELAVIC WAS SIGNED IN JANUARY. FACT.

Up until then Moyes couldn't sign anyone. FACT.

We signed no one permanently last summer. FACT.


So considering that "transfer embargo" from the board - Moyes comments are pretty spot on.

Matt, without Jelavic our aim should still not be just to achieve a top 10 finish. We managed that last season with a lazy as **** Saha.

It's nothing to do with Jelavic.

Gibson, Jelavic. All signed in January.

Arteta, Yakubu, Beckford all sold in the summer.

Meaning Moyes' squad - thanks to the EFC board - was down considerably for 5 months of a 9 month season!!!!!

Our aim sure should be to finish not only in the top 10 but in the top 5.

However its ok having that aim, but if the Everton-board are selling your players off promising REPLACEMENTS and not delivering ...


Then its only realistic to say top 10 was a good finish.


We're only as good as our weakest link. Which is the Everton Board. For not ensuring we had replacements ready to sign.

If they do the same this summer - then we're just undermining ourselves. Which is Moyes' point.

Also, because someone doesn't state "FACHT" after each 5 posts doesn't mean his posts don't include them.
