Moyes

Whether we'd have all taken it in January or not he's hardly instilling confidence in the players is he?

He achieved what his boss wanted from him (stay in the prem) and anything else makes him look better cause he took a banana to a gunfight and didn't walk out with it shoved up his arse.

Ambition lol.

And no blame on himself for our ****e start to the season meaning that relatively top ten is ok.

Again!!!!!! wrecks my head this time every year when the luvvies come out in praise of what a fantastic job he's done with limited resources - not a word mentioned about him stifling the life out of the team for the first 5 months of the season AGAIN

I'm sort of embarrassed for the people who are actually backing Moyes up on this.

It's an indefensible attitude. Defeatist to the extreme.

If you consider where we were in September, you can't disagree with him.

If we keep all our players this summer and add one or two and he still says these sorts of things, then people are right to be annoyed.

In the context if this season, 7th ain't bad at all.
But we shouldn't have been 'there' in September.

December 2011:

The Everton boss said: "I thought last season was our best chance of finishing in the top four. We could have been right up there and Mikel would have been part of that. If we'd done it he would have stayed.

December 2011:
Moyes said: 'I can only look at our games and I am only looking to - first of all - get 40 points.
'Once I have got 40 points I will see what I can do after that.
'That has got to be the target for us just now and make sure we are not at the wrong end of the table.'

So according to Moyes, Arteta and Pienaar are the difference between finishing top four and being relegated. Hilarious.

We were 20th in September 2010 when we had the supposed 'Champions League' side.
