Player Valuation: £1m
The mans going to walk away. No funds again this January and by the looks of things none in July.

How long can he put up with mediocrity? The man has proven his potential to compete with the top sides in England year after year....without huge funding! Give the man 50m and what could he do with it? We are yet to see and the way we are carrying on we will never see it.

We are Everton an established top flight side with a wealth of history, yet we can't compete financially with Sunderland, Stoke, Birmingham and even West Ham. We have no money available to our talented manager. Its gone too far and the club is going to slowly slip into mediocrity again like the Smith era.....Moyes will go and we will be left with a shower of ageing recruits like Scott Gemmil and Paul Gascoigne under smith, when under Moyes we have a solid foundation which needs to be built upon.

The only way we can build is buy, bringing in more talent and mixing it with the current crop. Eventually our stars will age and lose value and thats where I see it going at the minute. Arteta, Jagielka, Baines and Cahill etc seem loyal to the club!, but without the sale of one of those each season we will aquire no funding for new recruits.

Its a shambles and the board should be sacked. I really do fear for us under Kenwright.

Where will he walk and why?
Moyes knows something none of us know, he knows the state that club is in. Do you think if Moyes didnt want to loan the Yak out, or James V out then the board would have over ruled him? Not a chance. If that was the case Moyes would be out of the door now, he sanctioned those loans, not the board, they didnt force his hand.
Moyes knows that there are funds coming in the Summer and I believe they will come, along with sales and Sky money he could have a decent budget to bring in a couple of good players.
He must know the clubs plans, he must.

also again, where will he go? Man Utd, not a chance...Chelsea? No. Arsenal?? No. Man City? No. Liverpool? No. Villa? No. Blackpool? No. Birmingham? Doubt it.
He is a very well paid Manager and he has always praised the board and BK. I am not saying 100% he wont walk but he knows the score, he knows the clubs situation and as I said above, if any of these loans had been done over his head he would be gone. He allowed them.

Ive got to agree it is embarassing that a club of our size and history cant compete with the likes of Stoke etc....... I know Kenwright keeps stating that he will not just sell the club to justy anyone but really is that a cover for the fact that NOBODY is intrerted in buying us? I do fear that Moyes has done his best and will walk away with his head held high but with the club in a downward spiral!
Kenwright need to secure a buyer at any cost or we will become the next Leeds Utd

I think there would be loads of people wanting to buy Everton. The problem being the value that BK MUST get back before he sells. He will not sell at a loss, and the proper value of the club would give him and the other share holders a loss. So until someone pays over the odds he wont sell. Nobody would sell at a loss.

I wouldnt blame him, but i think after so many senior players signing new contracts, he will be loayal to them if nothing else.

I would be amazed if he signed a new contract, which i think hes into his third season of five. That said isnt he on about 5mill.

I wouldnt blame Moyes at all if he did walk.

He can't achieve anything at Everton without funds. Why waste a promising career whilst getting outspent by West Ham, Sunderland, Stoke, West Brom and co.

He'll get my support if he moves to a better more ambitious club. I dont like it but thats what we have become under this board.

Its not the outgoings that I or anyone else is worried about...its the in-comings...there is non. Would Moyes be given a shot at some of the clubs you have mentioned I think so....hes a proven premiership manager who worked on a shoe-string budget well. Chelsea, Liverpool and even Man utd would give him a shot if they were vacant of a manager and the time was right! thats just my opinion.

If he gets no money in the summer and a better job becomes available....with a bigger wage packet well i don't see him doing anything else but walking!

Silly season is upon us, 36 hours of silliness - tin hat time lads.

You think its silly to think Moyes would walk rather than tarnish his good reputation as a manager? I am usually a positive thinker but now I don't see anything but negatives....To buy we must sell to sell we must sell one of our stars.....I just don't think any of our stars are worth selling..They are worth much more to us as a club than their value! Rodwell being the only one worth probably more than his present ability!

He will only go if another [bigger / richer] club shows interest in him. Why would he just walk into unemployment?

I highly doubt the guy would be unemployed for more than 6 months if that!! That is exactly my case and I do believe that one day a bigger/richer club will come in for him.

No, I just think the timing is wrong. Stirring the pot at a time when even a blind man see Moyes is struggling to build a team, but look - he knows the score, he is 12 months into a 5 year contract, which any man of his stature would have asked for a 5 year plan to back it up(hense the trepidation in initially signing it) this along with the current Kenwright alliance uprising, and one day left in a transfer window full of second guessing, rumour mongering and a FAT RECESSION IN FULL FLOW.

So, no - i don't disagree, just your timing is a bit poor, that's all.

I wonder if we haven't already seen him with the equivalent of a 50mill team? Remember, this was the best team he's had was (I think) his quote. I reckon he may be suited to a perennial struggler of a team. I think that perhaps his style is better suited to players "lower down the food chain". Perhaps he'd be just like Mark Hughes was with a team full of Prima Donna's, couldn't keep the ego's in check...just a thought.

On a side note...if BK loves Everton so much, why doesn't he let go? If it's return on investment, then he loves profit more...IMHO.
