At one time in his life Savage was a decent player and getting him probably would have helped us.

I'm more shocked at the fact that Savage could type out more than 2 coherent sentences together. Who know he could even read?

i recall steve bruce was getting interviewed at the races about the possible move of savage to us on ssn and he said somthing like this "the terms in which everton are offering are derisery to pay over so many years and terms is a joke iits been laughted out by the board they need to make a sensiblie offer"

I'd probably say that would be close to the truth. :D
 

I'd have thought that he'd have done well for us.

He's an ass but he would have been OUR ass and we'd have loved him.
