Moyes, Time for a change.....??????

Your all sheep following a trend, why don't you buck the trend and think outside the box, instead of chickening out and fretting about what the others think?

It's like lambs to the slaughter in here, it's really mice to see some come out in favour of change instead of letting the old dog hang on.

I think he has taken us as far as he can we are actually going backwards now.
Like i said before the board are killing us slowly but moyes does not have a plan b its like he has given up himself.
What other manager would keep picking saha upfront give straq or velios a 5 game run in the team.
Moyes seems to be hiding behind the financial fiasco and when times are tough like now we need leaders but im afraid he is hiding.

Sick of people defending Moyes now, some are living off his success in the past more than some liverpool fans do with their success.

The fact of the matter is, even with our best squad we've never consistently played good football,, we showed flashes and were good at set pieces but never realised our potiential because our, Moyes, tactics were so negative. It's always held us back and now that we struggle to score even more, it's showing to be how poor it really is.

And it's not doing himself any favours, he's ruining his own reputation.

Don't have a cow, man.

I don't follow... What does that have to do with their playing style?

You said they were able to do more with far less a budget. I am saying that even though they spent less they could still bring some of the players they wanted in. Players that suit their style. Players they may actually want to fill gaps. Players they can work with. When we struggle to bring one in both of these teams have brought two or three in. Even young talented loanees who they can help mold. Players who came from teams with talent behind them.

Moyes gets scraps and possibly one or two loans.

Yes his style is conservative and boring but if you cannot get the players you want because our club can't even pay their wages then it may hinder the way you play.

In Moyes we trust? I'm starting to waiver. I think I'm right in saying that Moyes will have been at the club for 10 years in March and as a club we are starting to drift back down the table, back to a place where we started from. Moyes definitely improved the club but circumstances are not in his favour. During pre-season he was linked with the 'Villa' job but chose to stay here and gave the following quote "I want a good fresh challenge when we come back next summer and hopefully that will be the case." It seems he has a challenge on his hands no question about that but the freshness has gone, everything is very stale presently. I don't see a second half of the season run happening like previous seasons which can only mean a slide down the table. I think after his 10 years Moyes will decide enough is enough and he'll be gone; he does indeed need a fresh challenge but it won't be here. Mr Moyes it is time you used your skills somewhere else.

I fear that the day he goes will come to be seen as the beginning of the end for Everton. It's investment we desperately need, not a change of manager.

There is no point changing manager now. We first need new owners. I don't get to see Everton only when they are on TV as im on the other side of the irish sea. And it is not pretty what i see. I think from reading the forums that some fans are now starting to voice their anger at Moyes and i do think this is some what justified from what i have seen of the style of football been played. I think the fans need to re focus their anger towards the board and the owners. We need new owners this year who can invest in the team. Then we will see what Moyes is made of and he will have no excuses. Or maybe if we do get new owners they may decide of bringing in a new manager.

Not sure if this point has been made on here, but even if we wanted to get shut of Moyes how are we expected to have the cash to pay him off? It would be over £3m for every year left on his contract.
