I hate to upset people on here but I feel certain that Lescott will leave during the close season . What confirmed my train of thought was Moyes explaining that the Club itself had told him so . When a manager tells you this history then tells you that in an awful lot of cases the opposite occurs . I still maintain that Everton are dealing with a new beast in that City have money to burn and here is a golden opportunity to rake in an awful lot of cash for a player who whilst above average is by no means irreplaceable . Free your minds for in this scenario we could have major power to significantly strengthen the team .

The thing is, mate, we have to bring in people like that to pad the squad. On his day, Pennant is more than decent. He's free, so if he accepts reasonable wages, we should be interested. How else are we supposed to cope with the season when the injuries start to appear?

Unless any of the players want to leave, i can't see anyone going apart from the usual toss like Anichebe. Although i have my doubts whether Lescott will be here next season.
