Player Valuation: £25m
http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk...etrimental-effect-on-the-team-92534-29403980/ davey should concentrate on the players not on what some concerned fans think. i didnt go to the protest but i applaud the fans who showed their love, passion and fears about where they think the club is headed if left without investment. WE ARE THE CLUB. right or wrong those supporters had their say but to guess that its going to be `prolonged protests`is wasted breath. i might be wrong in thinking moyes should shup his trap. neville, cahill and moyes got behind the kirkby joke, i cant easily forget that towing of the party line. it stunk. work on some tactics davey- we support the royal blue jersey- which is never in doubt. p.s. i`m a fence sitter in all this - i dont know who is right or wrong

That feller is a seething mass of contradictions. Every statement he makes is succeeded by another that undermines the previous one. We're still capable of competing...but we cant compete at the level we competed at before; we've been successful...but we've never had the chance to be successful; we have a strong squad with potential...but we dont have a strong enough squad and he's making do and mending; the fan protests are legitimate...but we dont want any fan protests.

It's like listening to someone with short term memory loss.

Just belt up ginger minge and do your job. Moyes = another road block we now have to overcome.

As a person Bill seems to command a lot of loyalty from Moyes and certain players. Unless the club is wheeling them out to change opinion? I can't see this myself as I don't believe they could force the likes of Cahill to say things he doesn't believe.

I think it's foolish of them to come out and say anything to be honest. The BU have specific concerns about Bill and he has been proven to have lied on a number of occasions. He also seems to have set the club up to be manipulative and mistrustful which a number of fans are now reciprocating.

If we can draw one thing from this weekend it's that the BU does not have widespread support from the rank and file, but neither does Bill Kenwright. Moyes and the players do, that was shown all afternoon. Why any of them, including Moyes, would risk that by speaking out has baffled me TBH.

i`d forgotten all about the protest. then i go and get the daily post (1st time in years) thinking there`ll be loads about the way we played positively in the villa game and the back page is full of `the fans wont do us any favours if this continues` rubbish............. talk footy moyles ffs.and get this too- inside is cahill calling for unity ffs- EARTH TO TIM, EARTH TO TIM- there is no split - shut the fck up and play for Everton not australia or fck off in january. the three stooges- moyes, neville and cahill cause more division than soft joe

don't think he understands why there's a protest and a backlash in the board

He thinks we are kicking off because were not spending, which is not the point at all.

Top 7/8 class players/manager earning top 4 wages come out to back the status quo. Who'd have thought eh?

they will all be long gone when we are still here, who cares what they say, cahill wasnt mr everton last year leading goalscorer the pissed off when we needed him most before xmas when it wasnt looking good , i dont need a lecture of the likes of them about everton fc, moyles to be fair really hasnt got a chioce in the matter, if the club want a statement putting out it will get put out it goes with the job desciption.

Bizarre... Moyes thinks the protests are because we haven't won anything recently, which is so far off the mark it's mad.

We don't mind the fact we're not winning the league every year; what we do mind is that we're not even trying to be competitive.

I mean, this for example:

Moyes added: “Of course every supporter wants to win leagues and cups, and I do too, but really, over the past 10 years, should Everton have done much better than we have done?

The answer is no, we couldn't have done much better, which is the entire point. We're not criticising the job Moyes has done or the players over the last decade, we're just pointing out that those achievements have been despite Kenwright, not because of him. With another chairman who can invest in the club or a boardroom who can, perhaps £10m net transfer spend a year, then higher aspirations arrive with it.

It's just bizarre... it's like Moyes is living in his own bubble.

These players,ex-players and manager who are against this protest are blnkered, these protests are to benefit them aswell as us! THIS IS OUR CLUB! WE WERE HERE BEFORE THEM WE WILL BE HERE AFTER THEM! So shut the fuk up and show some back bone and say it how it is,this current board are a joke!

I was going to post this on the Cahill thread, but it was shut before I could...

What blokes like Cahill & Moyes don't seem to realise, is that many fans are just want to know wtf is going on! It's all very well for them to say everything is fine, but they're in the know...we are not. That doesn't mean that the fans must be kept informed of every little detail, but when there is no activity, sell to buy, and rumours of Bank troubles, well he has to expect that the fans' will start to fill in the gaps & think the worst. "Trust me" just doesn't cut it anymore.
