EQUALLY BOSS LEAGUE

Hahaha Thats 6th to 1st

I showed you there top 3

Its a gash league with 2 teams

Deal with it

This clown has done nothing special, Martinez would win the treble over there in his first season

Wait your saying there good teams becasue the beat teams in La Liga?

Quick someone tell Scotland there boss

Mourinho and AVB did alright coming from Portugal. Explain that one. When they came here they had virtually the same track record as Pereira.

4 different teams in the top 2 in the last 5 seasons.
Knows how to organise a defence. Martinez couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.
Portuguese football successful in European football in recent years, keeps supplying finalists.

Deal with it.

Vitor winning the league over there is like Lennon winning it in Scotland, He had to over turn one team in Benfica

He was knocked out of both domestic cups by weaker teams as well, Thats the last sort of man we want

2nd - England
3rd - Germany
4th - Italy
5th - Portugal
6th - France
...
...
23th - Sweden
24th - Scotland
25th - Serbia

And while there are plenty of managers who can win the league with Porto -but not that many, Benfica's competition in the last 2 years was top notch, a poor manager would easily lose to them- the reason I'd rather keep Pereira unless there's some very good manager available is because of HOW he won. You surely reckon that winning is different from winning in a dominant fashion. Sure, there's a big gap and Porto has a strong roster, any manager who can walk and chew gum at the same time would be able to win 20 matches and draw a few more just by not screwing up, but how many can win 2.6 points per match? Bobby Robson and AVB did, Mourinho, for example, didn't.

As for the cups, he was eliminated by Benfica, Braga twice (and Braga isn't a weak team, they've finished 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th in recent years and played the Europa League final just 2 years ago) and Academica (that went to win the cup). He didn't use the starting XI in those matches and paid the price for it.

Last years La Liga table,

Real Madrid - 100 pts
Barcelona - 91 pts
Valencia - 61 pts

This years league table not much different from last years from 3rd to 1st either
