Moyes on Jelavic (Sunday Times)

Just heard in Croatian press that Jelavic is sweet talking Rakitic to come to Everton. He has a contract with Fc Sevilla but he isn't playing regulary, so perhaps a chance is there. Of course this could turn out to be a big pile of **** from newspapers.

It probably is bullshine but i mentioned this lad before he signed for Sevilla on a free from Schalke a year or 2 ago, he is good mind, and if he isnt a regular, maybe a loan with a view to buy, a la Pienaar and Arteta of years gone by?!.
 

Also interesting to hear that Dave Weir was the one who persuaded Moyes to sign him. Give that man a pay rise! Actually don't else Stubbsy might kick off and join Spurs..
 
The next step fot Jelavic to take is to be able to continue his form next season, some players struggle to get back to where they were prior to the break.

What I meant was...

Moyes was content seeing Saha wide left with no-one in he box for months on end...I just hope he doesn't do his usual with Jelavic, he's half alright.
 

Steken 1 what price did you get for Jelly to be top goal scorer? I got 40-1 at my local bookie fingers crossed he bags a few
 
I wonder what Saha would make of that article? Especially the bit about other players being inspired by the presence of a quality goalgetter? I hope it would make him take a long hard look at himself.
