moyes, its time to move on

I don't really think I want Moyes to leave but I do have a suggestion for a possible replacement. How about Martin O'Neil? I know he probably wouldn't come to us as he'd have no money to spend but just throwing out there.

You all need a quick chill...Moyes is working within what he has. We will be fine, not good, or great but fine. I'd be surprised if we didn't push for a European place, although that would mean the top 4 dominating those cup competitions.

Bang on seventh. We are the 7th most successful (points won) in the premier league era. We will be 7th, not great, or good, just 7th.

He's destroyed every club he's ever been at by demanding unreasonable transfer funds yet somehow remains "well respected".

Avoid like the feckin' plague.

You know, it's funny. I speak to a lot of football fans, and most of them would bend over backwards to have Moyes in charge of their clubs, yet some of our fans don't want him.

He needs to man up and play a team to win rather than not lose but I still think he is the right man for Everton at this time.

Bullcrap. What sort of thinking is that? If he's not doing a good enough job then he should go. We are only stuck with him if we don't show the collective will to make his position untenable.

I will give Moyes 8 games, but I fear it will be more of the same. We'll hit a good patch at some point this season and make a fight for 10th place, and everyone will say that we've come good, but for me that is NO GOOD.

See read my overall post. Theres nothing worse when people pick one line of an entire piece to focus on and don't read the overall subject. Look i am not defending Moyes. All i am saying is financially we cannot sack him. He has to leave on his own accord otherwise we owe him massive compensation which we could not do with spending if we are to bring in a decent manager.

It would be ace to be one of the clubs who sack their manager after a couple of games into the season - that always work out for the best.

It will be ace to keep the same manager for ever and never sack him for a better manager - that always works out for the best not like those teams who sack their manager and then do better.
