I was driving along Queens Drive the other day, rush hour, roadworks, a mad road at the best of times, when this grey Porsche Boxster appears in the rear view - cuts inside, starts weaving in and out of the traffic, baldy driver looking out of his side window a lot, a bit manic like he was on drugs or drunk. I ended up behind him and noticed his registration plate - E7 VDM :@

Okay, well it looks like I'm on my own in seeing precisely where VDM is coming from. Moyes clearly disliked the man, so much so, that he refused to play him from the bench, when it was clear that he could have offered us something. VDM was one of the few creative players at Everton, and arguably the best crosser of a ball at the club. We chased some matches in the last 10-15 minutes. VDM would have been a good option during those times.

I would say that regardless of Moyes' opinion of VDM, Moyes isn't bigger than the club. If VDM could have provided something useful to the team, then Moyes had a duty (a £65k a week duty) to use him.

Moyes isn't perfect, he does play favourites and he does hold grudges.
