Moyes in for Defensive Midfield cover

It's only the mirror. but they are running a story that Moyes could be in for summer free agent Mohamed Diame.
At first glance this seems no great shakes, but then I cast my mind back to last summer when he was supposedly looking to recruit Karl Henry from Wolves.
With Fellaini once again proving he can carry the support striker role with consummate ease it makes sense that Moyes is either looking for cover at Defensive Mid or an actual first team reducer to be brought in a la Carsley from the 4-1-4-1 days.

Personally, if Moyes has to pick up a couple of frees to make Pienaar and a full time right winger happen, then I'm all for it. Hoillet would be a dream come true but seems unlikely. A decision on Coleman is coming as well, either he goes to RB or we look to get another RB in just to for the sake of a long term project.
 

I have no problem with signing anyone on a free, he won't be on massive wages either. Hasn't he played LB as well? Possible cover for Baines as well as CM if true.
 
Sunderland are supposedly in for Hoillet. How can we compete with THAT!?

The likes of Hoillet should be begging us to save him from the likes of Sunderland. :D
