Coming into the last month or so we knew that to stay in contention for a European place of any description we had to win at least one of the massive 4 away games facing us, at Arsenal, Spurs, Anfield and Chelsea. With one to go (now a dead rubber anyway) we've failed. And really apart from one half against Spurs, we haven't even had a go at taking all 3 points.

Initially Moyes had improved his approach this season, but as the finishing line came into view he has increasingly returned to type, becoming more risk-averse, more and more conservative. A leopard doesn't change its spots I suppose.

Hats off to the man for doing well on a small net budget. And for bringing some good players to the club. But once again, when it really mattered he has failed the test. Which is why of course no 'top' (whatever that means) club would consider him, and why he'll still be here this time next year. The 'big' clubs want managers who win the big games. Moyes doesn't.

Yeah we were nowhere near winning at anfield, ffs. We ignoring that goal now?

We came within a couple of minutes of winning at Spurs, a referee's call off doing the same at Anfield & kept a clean sheet at Arsenal & could have nicked it.

Failed my arse.

Also we may have drawn alot, but we've only lost more than a couple of the bigger sides.

We throwing hand grenades here, fella?

Just stating facts mate, we went out with the right attitude in all 3 of those games & stood 'toe to toe' which each of them. The fact that we didn't win comes down to the lack of real top end quality, not endeavour nor mindset.

Cant complain about our performances against the top 7, its dropping points to ****e that have cost us.
