Maybe it's just me, but I simply couldn't believe what I heard on MOTD last night. Now, I've always been one of Moyes's biggest fans on here, but I was and still am very annoyed by his comments. Wtf, he didn't expect to get much at Newcastle? It was always going to tough to get a result there? Don't know what to make of it. Was he just being sceptical, or has he really lost the bottle as quite a few on here are suggesting for a long time really. The moment we go in to any game (especially the likes of Newcastle) and already conceed defeat before the match is even played, is the time I feel ashamed to be an Evertonian.

Please tell me, I misunderstood you Davey and it was the alcohol playing mindgames with me.:(:(:(

I think he meant he didin't expect to get anything from the officials. He was talking about the Gosling handball just prior to that statement.

Rather than watching the MOTD snippet - watch the full thing on the BBC website - he is clearly saying that he didnt expect to get any decisions his way yesterday.

is there any wonder we dont get **** all off refs ,after everygame he has his daft snidy remarks ,just get on with it ye lemon faced beaut

Yesterday was the first time I've heard Moyes refer to something the players have done as a joke. You could tell he's not a very happy man at the moment.

Well put down. When has correct context ever stopped people from twisting the managers words?
