Moyes - Can't Live With Him , Can't Live Without Him

We've been here before with Moyes and he and the team have bounced back. I have a feeling, though, that he's probably thinking that seven years of his time has been invested at the club and he's only marginally nearer getting success. The Moyes plan was all looking so co-ordinated a few seasons back: couple of young (ideally British) additions to the squad each season and we'd make incremental progress. Now we have a higgledy piggledy approach where he has to sell to buy and the players brought in are panic buys, players obviously drawn by the Premier League wages on offer, and players out of contract. It looks a mess to be honest with you. I think Moyes is running out of track.

I really hope your wrong mate - seems to be still building for the future.

Not sure I see it, tbh. The last two summers in the transfer market have seen an over achieving Moyes short changed and forced to compromise his plan. Who in their right minds wouldn't be downbeat and jaded under those circumstances? He'll stick it out, though. It's his way. I just hope he isn't left carrying the can for unfullfilled expectations.

A lot of youth recruiment and so on - Moyes has been bigging up the set up recently - i think he knows there is a few gems going to come through.

Thats a fantastic point about expectations - we have become a bit spoilt - expecting win after win - European football every season - entertaining football - breaking the top four - in the context of whats been made available maybe this is a natural adjustment!!! I said maybe though i still think we're as good as anything else full strength - but my mind drifts to 2007 for the last time that happened.

Not to get in to the rights and wrongs - but its an intresting atmosphere for the stadium decison to be announced in - with feelings running high.

Lets not get carried away. All Evertonians know things go in cycles at our club. At the moment we are suffering with too many injuries. It's easy to worry. When we get our players back we'll have a strong squad that has improved on last years squad. Changing the manager will not get our players back any quicker. Take a deep breath and repeat after me, In Moyes we trust.

After all the injurys & Not getting enough players in to bolster squad, poor results, is it time for Moyes to go. Having been an Everton fan since 1984..I have experianced both the highs and the lows of being an Everton fan..

I think Moyes is an excellent manager, but I think his time at Everton is almost at an end...Who do we replace him with? hard to say...Not a lot of young managers out there who have the pedigree...

It's hard being an Everton fan...:@

Having been an Everton Fan since 1966(A great year for footy)I have to say if you really think thats the case you are sadly mistaken.

Oh dear, some people are just unbelievable. It's time for Moyes to go based on our start to this season? **** me, are we fickle or what? Can't believe what I've just read and if that's what to expect from your future posts, I won't even bother to read them anymore.
