After all the injurys & Not getting enough players in to bolster squad, poor results, is it time for Moyes to go. Having been an Everton fan since 1984..I have experianced both the highs and the lows of being an Everton fan..

I think Moyes is an excellent manager, but I think his time at Everton is almost at an end...Who do we replace him with? hard to say...Not a lot of young managers out there who have the pedigree...

It's hard being an Everton fan...:@

Yeah right, its so hard being an Everton fan, with ungrateful other fans who dont realise the good work Moyes has done.

To put your question back to you, who would you replace him with?

Fickle doesnt even cover it, hes dealing with a HUGE injury list and a few players playing way below par. It was only last season he took us to Wembley and yet again finished the best of the rest, with a small squad and very limited money.

He deserves our respect, hes earned our patience, he was the best man for the job, he remains the only man for the job.

Having been a fan since 1984 you should have more sense.

Try being a fan since the 70's ...now that's frustration. Moyes and the team will push on.
We may not hit the heights of last year , but to talk about Moyes going is just nonsense.

This 100% their is no one to replace him at the minute untill shiek loadsamoney buys us then maybe Hiddink

This slump is mostly injury related. Moyes has been a great servant of the club and made us respectable again. Let's not forget his limitations, though. I honestly think he's become jaded. His frustration is that he cant do anything with Everton without finances and he isn't good enough for a *bigger* club.

I can see this being a pivotal season:

Manager
Stadium
Club ownership

We're hurtling toward some huge moments over the coming year.

who should we replace a fan like you with more like.

ffs this is the man who is probably the red hot favourite to go and replace s.a.f. and you think we should get rid? if success was based on euro qualification as opposed to actual silverware then he would be the most successful manager in our history.
we pride ourselves on being "chosen" as Evertonians, i reckon you think you have been selected as one of us, but eventually you will realise that you are fond of waving a scarf above your head and bunkin' in.

supporting Everton is unconditional, yes we are going through a tough patch that looking ahead doesn't seem any better, but you must have seen a lot worse than at present since 1984.

feck it he's right, give moyes his p45 before someone snaps up the Barnes/ mcateer dream ticket.

i couldnt see anyone being able to do any better tbh dave with the constraints put on spending, and then all of our best players being injured.
the clown across the park is stumped when 2 are out, imagine him having to contend with what Moyes is experiencing at the moment.

I'd have Roy Hodgeson. You know, metaphorically speaking.

He'd do a job and get us playing nice football, even without Arteta and Piennar.

I honestly cant beleive i read that.

An implosian not seen since the days of Leeds Utd would be on our hands. I genuiinely beleive that - people seem to ignore how uterly dependent the club is on David Moyes, on and off the pitch we're probably talking tens of millions here - in football related prize money, whily transfer dealings and football related success - mercahdiseing etc. Not saying thats an ideal scenario but its a fact none the less.

I really hope Kenwright is on the phone hourly offering support to the manager in this difficult time - apparently he had a face like thunder getting on the coach last night. Reinforceing his innate loyalty and hopefully his commitment and relationship to Everton.

We all need to show our support and backing of the lads on Sat...too many games are played in almost silence from our fans. All you hear is the away fans having a party. Villa will bring a load. I for one hate hearing the 3000 away fans drowning out our 30000.

Come on lads raise the roof on Sat. Show the team we the fans haven't given up on them

We've been here before with Moyes and he and the team have bounced back. I have a feeling, though, that he's probably thinking that seven years of his time has been invested at the club and he's only marginally nearer getting success. The Moyes plan was all looking so co-ordinated a few seasons back: couple of young (ideally British) additions to the squad each season and we'd make incremental progress. Now we have a higgledy piggledy approach where he has to sell to buy and the players brought in are panic buys, players obviously drawn by the Premier League wages on offer, and players out of contract. It looks a mess to be honest with you. I think Moyes is running out of track.
