I can't abide the abuse Tie got while he was here. He was a sound DM, nowt flashy, but he was instrumental in our 7th place season. Then he got unlucky with that nasty break, recovers only to break it again. Truely a case of not the same player before injury.

After suffering two career threatening breaks, based on his game of going in for crunching tackles, I can understand him losing the will to play.

I don't begrudge him that, while he PLAYED for us, he was great.

Yeah he was. One of those that I was itching to get a goal. I remember watching Earl Barrett really improve his game, and I wanted him to score so badly.
