How many strikers has he ruined and should the club consider getting in a stiking coach to help Moyes out.

Ferguson has been knocking around the training ground and i'm sure he would be able to help the likes of Vellios.

Ferguson as a striking coach? cant see that lid, Fergie was a hell of a player but not technically gifted enough to be a striking coach IMO. Love him to death but his game was all about passion and strength. Maybe he could install some belief in the team as a whole and a bit of passion would be nice. I do however agree though that we should have a dedicated striking coach, Moyes is to defensive from what i can see. could we see the day when we have a Def Coach, GK Coach, Attacking Coach and a Head Coach? i tink they do something similar in America? i think it wouldnt be step backwards.

I wouldn't just narrow it down to strikers.

Get the feeling Moyes is running out of time

Things have gone stale both on and off the pitch. He looks a defeated man currently. The players have to take some of the blame, at the moment there doesn't sem to be the same team spirit and certainly a lack of passion.

Dark times mate dark times. COYB

Ferguson knows all the tricks in the book! Not 'technically' minded?? I'd say theres a hell of alot of technique in what he did. Why shouldnt he teach the next generation of hard men!?

Coach Duncan?????

It's not a striking coach we need it's a decent striker. Even though we have paid top $$$ for strikers with big reputations over the years we've not had a consistent scorer since Big Bob Latchford a goal every 2.22 games for The Blues. O.K. Sharpie with 1 in 2.9 ran him close but don't forget Sharp played most of his Everton career in a very good side. Why they both can't do some coaching is beyond me especially as they still have close ties with the club.:@

If Moyes had his own way we'd have 10 defenders and we'd try and get headers or tap-ins at corners

Piss bored of Moyes and Everton this season

Ask Beattie,Yakubu,Johnson<starqualursi,Vaughan,Agard,

I probably stick up for Moyes too much but this is rubbish. You can't ruin a striker. Injury and post injury fitness was Yak's problem. Same goes for Vaughan. AJ and Beattie were played every single week for the first year of their contracts. Beattie unfortunately has no excuse for his dip in form and AJ was never "ruined" in any way, shape or form. He just fell behind Yak in the pecking order and left for first team football. If you ruin a player you don't sell him for a big profit and get him his first few england caps mate.

Straq was a panic buy. And he's been here five minutes.

The worst part about this thread is the fact devtoffee mentions Vaughan and Agard.

Vaughan being injured all of the time and Agard a academy player turned pro who had the other mentioned strikers at the time ahead of him. I think he played a grand total of 30 mins (could be more) or so competitivly for us. How did Moyes ruin a player that i don't think most people even thought would make it.

Johnson wanted to leave didn't he? Even when he was playing he said he wanted to go back to london.

Beattie hasn't worked well with any team since. He had one good season before we bought him. He was always overrrated in my opinion.

The yak is an enigma. Whether he is 26 or 36 he always goes on holiday and gets fat. I think Moyes just lost patience with his fitness issues goalscorer or not. I bet he will play well for blackburn just like he did for us but will eventually become the yak we all know.
