Pick a number from 1-9.

Multiply by 3.

Add 3.

Multiply by 3 again.

Now add the two digits together to find your predicted
favourite movie in the list of 18 movies below.

Any number divisible by nine and less than 90, gets you nine if you add the two numbers together because as the first digit gets bigger by one the second digit gets smaller by one. All you need to do is times the original number by 9 and the two digits will always equal nine. The adding three is just a red herring.
