Boredom due to lack of Everton, large amounts of racism stories in the news, and an unusually patriotic few years with the Royal Wedding, the Diamond Jubilee, the London Olympics and the Euros.
Probably also due to the fanbase being divided into pro/anti-Kenwright and pro/anti-Moyes, and annoyance at the Sh*te winning a trophy despite the fact they have the worst squad since the 1950's.

Always gets a bit like this in the summer, doesn't it?
Personally I have picked a few positives out of the mountains of dross and use the better posts to educate myself... i'm 36 and not to proud to admit to learning something new on here nearly everyday... a lot of knowledgable posters on her you just gotta sift through the shoite first.

You can talk about anything on here with fellow evertonians from all walks of life all over the planet.
But the truth is, the majority love what your mentioning here, then talk about how they don't like it. If people didn't want to discuss these things then they wouldn't post at all, and the threads would drop off down to the GOT vaults soon for shredding.
It still amazes me that even though we all love the club, our collective minds can't put together ideas on how we think the club could be run better, and things like that.
There's all the room you need up in this internet, and by the look of the users activity over long periods, it appears time is something we find for GOT.

No , seriously, a lot of good stuff and some exellant discussions happen on here but then you get people with an agenda come along and people who can't respect another persons view even if we don't agree with it , and then the thread descends into a heated argument and gets shut....shame really and quite frustrating.

As long as we are civil to each other and leave out the name calling and actually engage in discussion, I enjoy it. I don't expect everyone to agree with each other on any topic. That's not real life.

Some threads get heated, turn into arguments and get closed sure. But how often does hard feelings from those threads spill over into other threads?
Not very often i'd say.
The vast majority of regular posters here co exist with each other even if they don't get on.
Its just thr troublemakers and people who are obsessed with "popcorn" which cause the problems.
