Jags for me, made some vital interceptions in that first half

Rom was excellent but we would have lost that if it wasn't for Jags.

McCarthy bossed Coutinho out of the game.

Mori was great.

Lukaku worked his socks off.

Galloway defends great but doesn't really do much the other way.

But I'm going the skipper. Jagielka was fantastic.

Barry for me, ran things from the middle starting most attacks. With McCarthy snuffing out Cuntinho, they offered very little going forward.

Barry by a country mile. Was massively important and the most calm player on the pitch.

Jags was excellent too, Rom was ace, the young fullbacks did well as did Funes Mori.

Shame really. We played well, if the ref wasn't so dodgy and we'd perhaps made better subs (took Naisy off too late) we might have won it.

Lukaku until he tired.

Jags with an excellent captain's performance, Funes Mori settled in well with a couple of great last ditch tackles and the young fullbacks were solid. Barry and McCarthy both did great, think we'd have won it with a different ref and if Mignolet hadn't had a great game.

Toss up between Jags and Lukaku but seeing as Rom got the goal he gets it for me.

Jags probably edged it but a number of players were excellent. Mori played very well once he settled down, Galloway looks a real talent and will surely be an exceptional centre half in a few years. Barry was very strong in midfield, as was McCarthy, whilst Lukaku was a real handful in attack.
