25 votes for Robles? He made 2 mistakes (letting Gayle nip in when Jags cleared off the line and flapping at a cross just afterwards) that on a different day would have cost us goals.

I thought that about the first one (gayle) but if you look at it again he's actually off his line to close the angle down. The second one, defo a mistake, but after that he commanded his box quite well and caught the majority instead of punching. I've slated him in the past but it was a vast improvement.

He does need to take control over his defenders though, instead of letting the ball bounce and waiting for the defenders to get rid he needs to be out and grab it. There was one with Coleman yesterday and one with stones the other week.

Improved performance overall though

Thought all of the back five were excellent - Jagielka the stand out and Besic as always, was different class.

Barry deserves a mention too, thought he did well.

Went for Jagielka. No nonsense defending with a bit of fight. No Gibson option, though? Back in the squad for the first time in nearly 3 months and we end this winless run. Whatever he did in the dressing room obviously worked. Hopefully he'll be able to help on the pitch as well soon.

39 out of 49 isn't that great tbf. You look at what Barkley does (twice as much passing usually and nearly all successful) you can see what a tidy ACM needs to be like. He's very wayward with his passing and it's his achilles heel.

I like him now, tbh. His attitude at least. He's still poor as a player though. Let's have it right.

lol lol lol

I voted Jagielka, thought he lead by example and made a vital goal line clearance at a critical time, just after the goal.
