How come MOTD didn't show either of the handball incidents in the first half?

Both looked like decent penalty shouts from where I was sitting.

Not that it matters now I suppose...

First one wasn't a handball, hit him in the chest

Second one from Gallas did hit part of his arm, but he was trying to move it away and it was more ball to arm then on purpose, one of those calls you'd complain about if given against us, but want as a pen yourselves

A bit like City's last week then?

Like anyone, I want the correct decision to be given and maybe City's was a pen by the letter of the law but surely we must be due the benefit of one of these.

Hopefully all of our fortuitious refereeing decisions will come in the second half of the season when our form will undoubtedly drop with injuries and what not. Let's hope what goes around comes around... we're due a hatfull of penalties and controversial goals.

How do you know that will happen? Ridiculous to say IMO.

Nothing to do with MOTD but there was a RS caller on 606 who said they could win the league THIS year and i don't think he was joking.

haha, they're the gift that just keeps giving.

A spawny away win with the help of an OG & the last hurrah of £100K per week Joe Cole & they're "back in the race".

lol, since the start of October, until yesterday, they'd recorded 3 league wins - all at home & to the 'might' of Reading, Southampton & Wigan.

They're truly unbelievable.

what, he must have been taking the piss.

I honestly dont think he was. Somebody else mentioned it in another thread so i had to listen to it, he sounds deadly serious.

He also sounded utterly clueless but that's par for the course with those people.

Incredibly lucky with Diame's injury as well.

Just like west hams peno that was harsh but likable!

can't wait to get a well paid job that will allow me to buy sky sports. MOTD set a new low by having michael owen on there. as soon as i saw him sitting there i though, what? he knows sweet FA about football. It's not the fact they have numerous RS on the show, it's just that they're all biased. I can see why hansen mentioned them because they have been challenging for the last 10 years or so. If they finish mid table for the next couple of seasons then people will stop including them in such categories.

RS are on a purple patch atm, that is all, there team is so unbelievable weak, OG's their 2nd top scorer and i think their RB is 3rd with 2 goals? there is absolutely no chance they will finish above us, arsenal AND spurs. after losing to the other 2 and should have lost to us.

Not too sure why they didn't show the penalty appeal (2nd), it was definitely a talking point and including sandro's 30 yard pee-roller was a bit weird
