I think it's disgusting that they've lost the open. The BBC needs doing away with. Interesting group called Ban the BBC...The BBC have just lost the open golf tournament after next year to Sky or BT - After decades all for the sake of 11million -why too much spent on MOTD as its cost are far too high to win it -the punters Shearer and co get paid a fortune!

Hurray, I can watch a highlights show without crying again. I feel sorry for those who avoided MOTD because of Alan Shearer and put on Goals on Sunday instead
an overwhelming 81% voted it his best goal as well, so they kept showing it, over and over again. why after a clean sheet and an away win for the first time in a month and a half, did I see Everton concede more goals then score on a highlights show?!Ha ha ha, got home from the match last night just in time for match of the day with ole chrome-dome shearer, only we were on last so I had to listen to his inane waffle till we reached our 2/3 minutes of highlights. Got up to watch goals on Sunday and there the boring tittybiscuit is on the couch with the inevitable "favourite " goal of his career being shown, sod that I've gone to town on the lash (b)
Always a makes me laugh 'Oooh terrible pundits' and so on. I say it too.
But in all honesty they all reached a level of football we could never even come close to.
The Sunday Supplement guys though....
Its the amount MOTD they get paid out of our £12.50 per month - the triple ruby crown looks to be lost also! TBH I record MOTD, and skip the pundit drivil!
They are not needed imo!
Its a MOTD gravy train for ex professional players, and we pay for them millions I believe!
ps thanks for my points back![]()

Got absolutely nothing to do with it. I can have a decent discussion with people on here/my mates in the pub that is a lot more enlightening that listening to the same old cliches getting wheeled out every week by pundits who didn't even watch the game.
Sort of.
We can all have a decent chat on football. We all know our stuff and have opinions.
But we will never, ever, know what playing in a top flight game is like.
