The issue with this, I believe, is that Poch was allowed a)time and b) to bring his own players in.

I think if we had a young progressive manager seemingly taking us on an upward trend, the fans would give them time. Not sure on the board.

In terms of bringing in players, well frankly, I dont think its clear who brings the players in.

I personally would hire a new DOF, implement a football strategy across the whole of the club so that players/managers can come and go but the identity remains.

Yes hopefully the marcel brands rumours are true albeit the only knowledge of him is what I’ve picked up since we have been linked.

We need a massive clear out & that Is where I’d spend the money.

It will be expensive as Schneiderlin, Bolasie, Williams will all be unable to earn the same elsewhere in fact would any player we have signed under moshiri be able to

We’re akin to Spurs in the early noughties.

Players who come for the money, think they have made it and have no pressure.

It will only get better when there is a long term strategy formulated to allow us to build a team and long term plans

The best player sold for big money , then the same seemingly scatter gun approach to transfers, which left the club in a pretty much similar situation to the one we`re in at the mo.( minus Allardyce ).

If / when the new manager comes in, there needs to be clear communication from the club, as to time lines etc.

Let`s face it, next season, is all about ripping it all up, starting again and stabilising.
