I'd say Mykolenko some of the grief he got, because he was stifled under Dyche was well OTT, I've been pleased to see him shove some shouts back down people's throats.

…Beto’s lack of quality cost us against Chelsea, yet here I am thinking he’s become effective.

Not so much ‘improved’, but I think O’Brien’s performances have been a very pleasant surprise to me.

Bit harsh to bring up one moment of poor control on the halfway line for a lad who’s scored what eight goals in half a season

If we’re trying to pick shortcomings for a striker you can bring up the hat trick of missed chances against Brentford but Beto has had a great 2025 so far and is good enough we can afford to take more of a risk on a younger player like Delap as an additional striker instead of being desperate to buy guaranteed goals for an older journeyman type on higher wages

It`s hard to say with O`Brien, as we never really got to see him under Dyche, so he may have been a good player all along, it`s just that for reasons known only to himself Dyche, wouldn`t play him.

He’s definitely improving, look at his hold up play yesterday. It’s clear that the guy is now being coached!

Harrison Armstrong, easily. Last May few people outside those who follow u18/u21 even realised he was at the club. He’s gone from a decent 17 year old prospect at u18s with some good u21 games played to an 18 year old capable of holding his own at Championship level .
