After the Newcastle game and the 2 disallowed goals, I began to think of other games in the past where we have been extremely unlucky, whether it be bad refereeing decision, disallowed goals or just general bad luck.
Top 3 as follows:
-Jeff Winter Derby game
-Man Utd in 2002/2003 when we were 3-0 down and pulled it back to 3-3, only to lose with the last kick of the game.
-Blackburn away a few years ago when Andy Johnson scored late on and it was disallowed for offside when it was clearly on.
As an Evertonian, I know there will be many more heartbreakers out there that I haven't thought of. Any to add?
