Most embarrassing night as an Everton fan?

I've never been embarrassed to be an Everton fan.

A lot of other words but never embarrassed.

The night when I realised that our fanbase is not much different to that of Newcastle or Aston Villa.

Can't pinpoint the exact night but it was this season sometime. Maybe many nights?

Obvious liverpool ones already quoted above.can tolerate being outplayed but feel embarrassed when we dont show up. Those big losses to arsenal stick out but for some reason remember getting smashed by cov city 4 or 5-1 away in the cup during the cadamarteri days. Didn't turn up and got humiliated by a much inferior team.was Walter in charge?

Seem to remember a sort of mini players revolt that night possibly led by Craig Short when Kendall told them to warm down infront of the away end at Highfield basically straight after the match.

Pretty sure it's been alluded to that this was the night Gary Speed had enough of Kendall's drinking and it all came to ahead.

A dark night and a truly sad season despite the fact that we stayed up

Getting beat by tramere was pretty bad, but only the walker times for a run of being embarrassed by the the team is on par with this seasons shambles

Tranmere has to be the worst surely? Getting destroyed by Liverpool and Arsenal were just appalling moments to have, but at least they were top half of the league. Tranmere were in the category of "Local rivals no one really cares about" It's like if Man Utd lost 3-0 at home to Stockport, just didn't bare thinking about.

Hurts more for me because I haven't been to much more than 20 games at Goodison in my life, and that game just happened to be one of them.

Still, doesn't excuse this entire season.
