Interesting one. Two weeks ago he was being linked across the board with all of the big clubs; Barca, Real, Inter....oh, and City.

One administration later and apparently it's only Forest and West Brom who have made concrete offers (at £1.5m each).

It's evident he'll go this week, I think he'd be a good acquisition, but I'm fairly sure we ain't got £1.50 to rub together, let alone £1.5m

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has been trying to flog him for months. The administrators will want to cash in quickly and get what they can for him. They'll have to sell him this transfer window rather than let it drag on til the summer.

He looks like a good punt to me. He's 19. Nigerian, so he'd fit in with our contingent of Yobo, Anichebe and Yakubu. He's got slightly better than a 1 in 5 strike rate for Palace. His conversion rate for England U17 is better than 1 in 2. We know he can also score spectactular goals. Presumably he'd add some much-needed pace to our side too.

We've got £850k in our back pocket from the sale of Neill. If we're looking to make it up to £2m, I'm sure we could defer it with the sale of Ruddy and Jutkiewicz to Motherwell in the summer.

I know that money is tight, but surely we could find a million if necessary. There must be some chance from Lescott's transfer fee left after the acquisitions of Heitinga and Bilyaletdinov.

My mate whos a Palace season ticket holder (lives in Brighton), reckons he's the best he's seen there in a long long time. Reckons he's worth over 10mil, and he's gutted he'll be going for such a small fee.

I reckon he looks good, however my only doubt is that there are a load of Championship teams after him.
Surely if he was that good better teams than West Brom and Forest would have bid by now!?

We will probably bid and then Old Saggy Face will get all excited and buy him just to sit in his reserve side, do you think he has got staff situated at all major airports just to see who walks past and then tries to sign them?

I agree with Neller, if we have got £1.5M then it isn't much of a gamble (obviously Moyes knows what he is doing and if he thinks he is good enough then surely he would be after him), the big question is have we actually got any cash?

If it is £1.5 million then you would think nearly everyone would be in for him, thats less than what the [Poor language removed] paid for that Greek chap.
