The binman chronicles
Player Valuation: £80m
We do like getting them in late mate so we save on wages.
Sickening to think but probably a fair bit of truth in that!

We do like getting them in late mate so we save on wages.
Was thinking that myself mate. Now we're out all the cups, a very, very slim chance of a top 6 place, would the club start thinking along the lines of instead of paying the inflated January prices for players now, keep the cash for the summer. Imagine the fumefest on here, me included.
They are being silly, if you dont want to play a player his value drops regardless of how good he may be, if they think he is still worth what they paid I hope we tell them to do one. Unfortunatly they dont need the money, if nothing is doing we just need to move on quick.
would be mightly pissed off if we did that and then someone else bought him now in january or more clubs got involved in the summer meaning we either miss out or have to pay even more. Then what? we end up with a plan b? The club won't be thinking about that, that's for sure. The whole point of selling stones for so much money was to vindicate spending so much in the summer seeing as our income is so poor, so kind of have to spend the majority of that now because we'll have other ideas of what to buy in the summer.
That's how i see it anyway, i could be wrong, i don't know an awful lot about the situation.
Think the board need to spend now to show a sign of intent, if they don't then they open themselves up to scrutiny again.
think the board need to spend now because our squad is so fragile ha. I can't get my hopes up like i did in the summer, only to have them dashed, thankfully the players we're after seem less fancy and more gettable. Fingers crossed anyway.
Funny that we have so much deadwood in this squad getting paid an absolute fortune to do as much as people on the dole do if that is the case.We do like getting them in late mate so we save on wages.
Great. So we can expect Schneiderlin to be in a Spurs shirt by the end of January as we continue the art of negotiation Everton style.I've watched pretty much every episode of The Apprentice and if there's one thing I've learnt from all those talented business men and women is that you never accept the first offer. So cunningly, to fool the seller, they go in with a low bid and then pretend to be shocked when it's turned down. It's then when their plan comes into action as they wait for a bit to make out they're not arsed and then come back with a slightly bigger offer. In the meantime the seller has started to panic and will automatically accept whatever the next one is.
Crazy but true.
