More Signings to Come

If we flog Bily for £5m, we should be talking at least 2 very decent playes coming our way. I'd actually be surprised if he's still here in Feb, I think Lokomotiv/Anzhi will bid.

I know I shouldn't but I still hope we get hammered by Norwich tomorrow, so that Moyes will be forced to leave. With Landon in Moyes will field a midfield of all his favorites: Donovan - Fellaini - Cahill - Rodwell/Neville - Osman.

Wow true blue right there boys.and next you will say it's for the greater good, shakes head

Would love this, however surely Awwy wouldn't actually do us a favour and sell him to us for cheap? He strikes me as more of a, 'watch them rot rather than aid a rival', sort of guy. I'll be impressed with the bloke if he sells him back to us for what they bought him for.

They don't see us as rivals to be fair.

As long as Moyes remains tactically inept, signings or no signings will make little difference.

Surely they would mate, the reason for a lot of the performanes this season in my opinion is because moyes has had to sell the team he has built up, ie lescott, pienaar, arteta or not been backed on players he wanted

A manager's transfers and his tactics are two different things.

yeah fair point but like my above post maybe the tactics are being dictated by the lack of backing being given to the manager, ie we used to have creativity in pienaar and arteta, now they have been sold and moyes has not been allowed to replace them. I buy in to the fact that young ross should be given a go, but i just feel that his hands has been tied due to the lack of backing from the board which is leading to a lack of quality in the team

More than a little bit scared that this "former player" could be Johnson. I'd do cart-wheels if it was Pienaar though.

would he come back i don't think i would like him back, he was a good player but he though he was bigger than us
now he sits on spurs bench most weekends, i'd say give Gueye and Drenthe a run.
