David Moyes wants Landon Donovan's arrival at Everton to be the first of several additions to his squad.
I also want that... Does that mean Bill is finding some cash for Jan? Hurrah!
Everton this week confirmed that the USA international would be rejoining the Club from January on a two-month loan.
And Moyes says the Club are currently working on adding more new faces.
"We want to get players in and the chairman is working around the clock to try and get me more in," declared Moyes at his Friday press conference.
"Let's hope we can get one or two more before the end of the January window. Landon is the start and we know we would like to add to the squad and we are going to try and do that."
Donovan has had a sparkling summer of football which culminated in him lifting the MLS Cup for LA Galaxy.
So Moyes is hopeful he will be ready to make an instant impact back on Merseyside.
"We are really looking forward to getting Landon back," continued the Blues boss.
"He did great for us before. We have been watching him closely and we would have had him back last year but after the World Cup and all the football he has played it was just too much.
"He knows what we are all about and we know about him. We've watched his games, he looks fine and we will be able to use him in several roles, off the left, off the right and through the middle and we need that at the moment.
"Hopefully he can hit the ground running and get started quite quickly.
"We get him for about eight weeks and we will make the most of it."
