I don't know whats gone on since I used to watch them - but have to be one of the best double acts of all time?

Did they get busted or something? Is not liking them COOL??

I think they were Ace.

Nah, they went back to ITV but didn't take their writer (Eddie Braben) with them until it was too late. By that time it was the 1980s, punk rock, "alternative " comedians (i.e. yobs that swore a lot) and failing health. It was over, alas.

shoulda bought your Paxo before and if you didn'y buy paxo then or now well...er...er...thinks, ah yes, some sort of pithy you getting stuffed thing
 
Sh*te - Get Reginald Perrin on instead

I didn't get where I am today by watching Reggie 'kin Perrin, especially the remake, although Martin Clunes gave it a good shot.
Somethings, like M & W, while being very excellent at the time seem a bit...meh.
