I believe so. They'll sign him then look to sell him pretty much straight away is what the papers have been saying recently.

I've read that they plan to sell him, so I don't think he's coming back

Was it true that we tried to get Juve to buy him this year rather than next? Can’t see it happening as they know by now he’s not the best plus I guess it will help us out next season with some lovely transfer income….. just need to get through this coming campaign

I think there was something reported re Paul Thelwell going to Italy? Given our predicament they were maybe trying to do a cut price deal. It’s just a shame we couldn’t cash in after that season he had with PSG.

We wouldn't do a cut price deal we have it in stone that they pay us a loan fee and then an outright purchase next year. For once we hold the cards in this game! Saying that I'm sure we might listen to a slight reduction to get it all now but seeing we've sold Richarlison the pressure should be off and we would rather get the 3 or so million loan money this year and 30 next summer than say 25 now.

It's up to Juve to try and off load him for what they can, perhaps they can loan him to PSG and see if he does well enough for them to buy him next year but they don't particularly need him.

We’ll get more for him next Summer than we’d have got after his PSG loan. We’re making a profit on a bad player still.

Not so sure on what the difference in fees would have been but turning a profit and not having to pay his wages for a few years is a rare bright spot.
