Imagine you're Brands and you've spent £30M of someone else's money on THAT waster, and then you tell the owner that you can get a second loan deal for him?

He's got some brass 'kin neck on him that feller.
He’s been trying to sell him all summer to be fair to him, holding firm while PSG fannied around trying to get him on loan while throwing money at Messi, Ramos and others

Juve seem willing to do an obligation to buy which, while a full sale would be more ideal, is better long term than Il Sulk hanging round

Should have been given more minutes in his first season imo, especially after all the “we will look after him” BS we fed his mum. Not saying he would have done any better but his chances were minimal, he never really got a proper run in the team for whatever reasons.

I dont agree. DCL outperformed him so deserved to start.

How has he been hung out to dry?

He didn't perform when he was given opportunities. That's all there is to it. I dont see what the club could have done differently. Players have to take responsibility for their performances.

847 mins from 40 appearances or averaging 21 mins over 3 seasons.

And let's face it most of those appearances will be coming on to a losing position.

He has had more managers than Premier League starts!

DCL deserved to be selected ahead of him. Thats football.

You have to capitalise on every opportunity you get, no matter how small in top flight football.

It's not often Dave but I fully agree. The owner must be on wacky backy cakes if he's okay with the job Brands is doing.

He's miles away from being ready to start up front in the Premier League.

I'll be surprised if he ever moves past being a squad player at Juventus.

Cant win either way. No one will pay money for him, but he equally he doesn’t want to be here and isn’t contributing anything positive to the squad. So we’re left with just shipping him out on loan again. Ridiculous really when this should be the time he’s exploding for us like Lukaku did. Instead he’ll probably run his contract down playing most of his football for other clubs.

As long as Juve really are obliged to buy him and take us off our hands then I am happy. A loan without an obligation to buy would be a disaster!
