….red or yellow doesn’t matter for me. It was a ridiculously petulant reaction to a nothing challenge, especially when we were breaking with purpose. Indefensible and inexcusable.

Can’t believe he thought about getting involved in a skirmish rather than bombing forward when we had them on the stretch.

I’d be amazed and disappointed if a few of his teammates didn’t have a right go at him after the game. Fortunately, we still had enough to take us through to the next round.

It was a clear red, no doubt. I still think he's unfairly treated by fans, though. I can't remember another player where so many of the fans want him to fail.

It's not the fans being late for training, breaking COVID regulations, strangling opposition players and sulking their tits off though is it.

He's not unfairly treated at all. And it was the opposite; we were desperate for him to succeed.
