People were saying this about Dom when he was Kean's age too, tbf to Kean.
The comparisons between DCL and kean are relevant as far as age and maybe overall impact at a similar age are concerned. However, it’s clear and obvious that DCL was a dedicated pro with a ronaldoesque desire to maximise his potential. Keans body language, certain incidents and managers refusal to talk him up/give him opportunities indicates the opposite.

Yes tbf, DCL was constantly picked nearly every game he was available, by a succession of managers, even when he wasn’t necessarily performing on the pitch (and at times stunk the gaff out). These managers must have seen the application he was putting in to keep backing him game after game.

Correct. He must have been working his arse out in training for them to keep having faith in him. And it paid off.

I'm not writing Kean off. But he does need to earn his opportunities and so far he isn't.

Probably get bombed back to Italy in the summer. Not sure it's all his fault feels like he has been hyped up way beyond his current ability and then pushed towards big moves by his agent ,he is a kid.

There is evidence of former players or ours with "bad attitudes" coming good between age 20 and 24 too. I'm just saying be careful as a lot of talented players give little indication of being good enough at 20 and are quite good when they hit their prime.
