Ancelotti having really made the most of him yeah? In the 11 games under Ancelotti he's played more than 15 minutes 6 times. In the 5 games since he finally broke his duck and got some confidence, he's played a cumulative 73 minutes. Blame Silva for all his woes if it makes you feel better, but the evidence doesn't support it.
I don't see how people can blame Silva, he does'nt really fit the Silva system of playing nor does he really fit into the Carlo one. People will hate this, but i can't help feeling that it was a bit of Brands doing his mate Mino a favour to get Kean away from Italy because of the race related problems he had had at times, also Juve were not arsed as they had already disciplined him for off field stuff a couple of times, a club that size is not going to waste resources on someone who does'nt take things seriously.

That first line is it in a nutshell, and i've been saying it since about the third game of the season. We know Silva plays one up front, and yet we paid £25m or whatever to bring in a supposed world class talent, who absolutely cannot play up front on his own. Silva had many, many, faults, but (with the caveat that I have no idea what goes on behind closed doors) I make him pretty much blameless in this situation.

I honestly think that the answer is in the crime, Rooney was caught doing all kinds after hours, his biggest mistake was being found out, he was,and was made to look a fool by the (Dis) honourable press. Moise Kean has done something stupid and deserves a rollicking and a warning for future bad
behaviour, he has caused other problems over lateness etc. but surely Ancellotti can sort out a bit of a kid, as a fine is a joke unless it's £1M.
I might be unsure about the correct punishments, as I would willingly have Luis Suarez head on a pole at the top of our street and I'd foot the ladder.

You’re telling me Silva couldn’t have gave him more time in the early part when we were struggling for both goals and results? Some of his decision making with him was baffling, playing him on the wing for the Watford game, knowing it’s not his position, then hooking him at half time, not bringing him on period when we were struggling against Norwich and Sheff Utd, bringing him on in the derby when we were already 4-2 down

No, i'm literally not telling you that? Where have you got that from?

I'm saying the idea that his struggles are all down to Silva just doesn't stand up to scrutiny. If bringing him on the derby at 4-2 down is bad (although he missed a really, really, good chance to make it 4-3 and get us back in the game so I have no idea why you think that other than to make it fit with the nonsensical point you're making) then what are we calling bringing him on at 4-0 down to Chelsea? He's been handled exactly the same by Ancelotti as he was by Silva, and in the 3 games under Ferguson. It could be that all the managers are handling him badly, or it could be that he's just a bit more raw than we originally thought, and nobody really trusts him to do the job we need from him. I know which one makes more sense.

I would think that Kean could play the Walcott role and could add more goals as well.
I am surprised he wasn't tried there more often.

Of course, he may just want to go home.

I guess, I just hope we make the right call and let him at least have the preseason, whenever that’ll be, under Ancelotti’s tutelage and see how he comes out swinging next season, if he’s still underperforming then maybe we may have to part ways with him

Not in a 4 I don't think. Walcott isn't exactly a great defender but he puts a shift in to be fair, and gets up and down. From what i've seen of Kean he'd struggle both with the physical demands and the need to stay alert in that position. I agree that wide in a different formation could work, although everyone moaned when Silva tried that for 45 minutes in a league cup game.

So far he’s the opposite to DCL.
Dom has worked hard got his head down and over time has slowly improved his game and looks like he wants to learn and improve.
Kean came here with a big reputation and everyone said we’d signed a top young player, he’s had numerous run ins with the club and I don’t get the impression he’s busting a gut to work hard and improve.

In 5/10 years time Kean may well be a better or more successful player but it’s not hard to work out why the manager’s currently favour DCL.
I assume it’s the same in training.

Like a few have said, if Kean was smashing in goals this season people would be more than happy to overlook his indiscretions.

Its fair to say hes probably on his final warning now though.

He was signed to start for us, but then DCL turned into a peak Shearer so I think we will probably move him on this summer.

We would have got most of our money back, but with prices crashing everywhere we will probably have to think a slight hit.
