It's official.
This game sucks donkey balls.
Now, before you get on me, it's not for the reasons you may think.
I think the gameplay, graphics, etc...are all fantastic. As Dylan said, "Battlefield 2 is sooooo yesterday." I agree that this is one of the best games I've played in awhile.
HOWEVER the big, big problem with this game is that hackers run rule over it. Punkbuster does nothing. In addition, the servers are dedicated servers so you can't ban hacks as you could in BF. There's no admin there or anything. In BF, hackers were banned almost immediately.
So, it really isn't much fun when some guy gets a 10 person kill streak by hacking and then calls in the Harrier Strike on you. Meanwhile, your stats are getting killed because you can't compete (as you're constantly getting killed).
It's gotten so bad that I'd say that one in every two matches I play in have at least one player hacking if not more.
Unless the people who made the game (forgot who it was) get this fixed, I predict that you'll see people lose interest in it real quick. That and when the word gets out, they won't be willing to fork over $50 for a game that can be easily hacked AND played that way.
Surely the game developers know this is an issue. I'm not so sure that they care to do anything about it.
