Mobile phone signal at Goodison

I'm on Three and have a work mobile on Vodafone - although I get a signal, don't really get any internet when in the ground. Sometimes do, sometimes don't. When I last went to Silverstone for the Grand Prix (sponsored by Vodafone of all people), it was terrible.....got no internet for the entire day. Not enough masts to support the number of users.

Is it just me or does anybody else struggle for a reception at Goodison? I am on o2 and usually it is not an issue. However, the missus is due to give birth on Monday and I've wangled a pass out for the game on Saturday....but i'm likely having to borrow a phone from her dad just so I can be on-call just in case!

I usually enjoy the peace and quiet to be fair, but I'll take the pass and another phone this time!
Mate, you need to get your priorities sorted.

It's only a baby

Honestly mate I never get signal in Goodison, on o2 as well.

I think it's the amount of devices and network connections going on. Might get a few cheeky texts sent but that's it.

I do see some lads on their phones tho, so always assumed o2 were just crap.

I've got the wifi passwords :bye:
Saw someone at the match on Saturday who was glowingly heralding the fact they had the WiFi. Apparently they've been shared...

Over in Germany they regularly have WiFi access for their fan based to interact with social media before and after the game.

It's switched off during the match though of course!

O2 is terrible in Upper Glwadys St. I once messaged Alan Myers asking about wifi in the ground, he replied it was not straight-forward in a ground such as Goodison.

A lad I go the game with has EE and gets great signal every game. Checks the scores etc at HT.

I'm on O2 and it is a waste of time anywhere near Goodison.

Not sure I should mention this in case you all join and ruin it..........

Never have a problem at any ground including Goodison on 3.
4g works a treat for watching replays when we're on sky.

EE, i always get a signal. Handy little tip if you desperately need a signal/4g for a few mins...turn airplane mode on...wait 5 seconds...turn it off.

Always works

I bet half you social media fiends are the type of whoppers that go to concerts and record the whole thing on your phone.
Drop your phone, interact with people in real life you bunch of virgins.
