Don't know if any of the forum members are mobile phone experts. For some odd reason when I went to the UK in August my Spanish Digimobil sim wouldn't get data. They sent a new APN but it never fully worked so I used friends and families wifi. When I got home again no data again although calls and text fine. They weren't very helpful so I started using the Tesco sim which gets 4G in both sim slots, but after 3 months I fell foul of their well hidden T&Cs which block roaming data after 12 weeks out of the UK.Yesterday I bought a Lebara Spanish sim and it's the same tale, calls and text but no data connection.I've tried switching slots, leaving the Tesco sim out of the phone to try to rule out any hardware problems, but still the same??

What phone have you got?
What bands your phone supports?
Have you reset your Access Point Name?
Does Spanish Digimobil have an internet data access agreement with one of the UK network?

It's a Moto C, Digi is supposed to be able to roam in the UK,it's just odd that even after checking and double checking the APN no Spanish sim will connect to data, yet a Giffgaff sim a friend loaned me this morning got a 4G connection straight away. It's as if the phone has been locked to UK sims only.

If you're on Android, have a look at what your access Point Names is set to. It's under something like Connections | Mobile Networks. If your provider isn't shown there then google something like

lebera access point name

to get info on how to manually add it, which will come up with suggestions like

They automatically send the APN settings when you activate the sim,I went through them and manually checked. It's just really odd that both UK sims I've tried have 4G as soon as the phone is switched on yet both Spanish won't play.

It's probably best to pickle the phone in hydrofluoric acid then. It still won't give you 4G on your SIM, but, as it slowly gets eaten alive by the HF, at least you'll understand why it's not working.

Oh, also, do you have multiple APNs listed ?

Still haven't received the necessary information.

Anyway, there can be different versions of Moto C depending on where the product is sold. So in Spain they will sell Moto C that would support certain frequencies and in the UK one would support frequencies there. Digi mobile should be able to tell you which UK network it piggy-back off for its sim in the UK. Once done then you simply compare that with what bandwidths it supports. 3G uses different bandwidths and 4G uses different bandwidths. They all vary from country to country. We already know 3G works because you are able to make phone calls. One idea is to switch the internet setting to 3G to see if that works.

Another way of explaining it, is a Canadian iPhone doesn't work on the Vodafone network, according to another user, because the phone itself doesn't use a compatible bandwidth.
