He's a tit, and one of many reasons I don't bother with the mma roll around the floor bullocks. I appreciate it's generational, and the social media spivs like tate and co have utilised one platform to grandstand on another. Brave new world, apparently.

I have no idea how this even counts as a sport. It's just barbarism.

It's very technical, and the best that do it are very skilled and tough. But as a spectacle it's not got the draw for me. I appreciate Greco Roman wrestling is or has been a part of the Olympics, and that's super, but I don't know enough or have any access to it to be able to follow it. It's a similar situation with the mma and the varieties therein. There's more than a few characters I find utterly deplorable, pimblet, tate, mcgregor, like some prance around the may pole for a bunch of bum*holes.

Edit: I hasten to add, that the majority of kopites have turned their back on him, if I can find the rawk pages from a while back I'll grab em, that lot weren't impressed with pimblets hijinks either.

Bludgeoning someone with head, hands, feet and knees is just un-codified carnage.

I can see the technique in boxing, but MMA is just another name for street fighting.

It has no place in the pantheon of sport.

The grappling, the submission holds, the defense, those aspects are the technique areas, all the 'ground n pound' stuff is for the birds. Kick boxing, meets wrestling, meets judo and then other martial arts. They are athletes and great at what they do, but a spectacle it aint. For me.

Also this bit, I believe the outsider aspect of where and how mma has made it to the forefront of entertainment has been part of it's allure.
